14 Weeks

Sleep: Still having some interesting dreams. Dreamt that we had our gender reveal party and our baby was a girl
Best Moment this Week:  Announcing to my school and students that I am having a baby

Worst Moment this Week: Having some more headaches
Miss Anything: Nothing 
Cravings: Cheese Quesadilla 
Queasy or sick: None
Symptoms:  Being tired and having headaches

Looking Forward To: Gizmo's 8th birthday celebration!

I love this shirt my mom sent me for the Super Bowl. It says Touchdown with the baby handprints :) Baby Zegarra is the size of a lemon! Growing so quickly! 

Thought it would look interesting to see my belly grow from my point of view. I am really fascinated with my belly if you can't tell :) The only thing with my belly now is it is starting to itch more. Not sure if it is itchy from the skin stretching or wearing the belly band. Any suggestions on lotions I should start using? Don't want any stretch marks for this Mommy. 

Starting to get a big ole belly!

Having some fun comparing my body to when I was 5 weeks to now being 13 weeks. Sure notice the belly bump! I am loving seeing how my body is changing! 

I can even see how much bigger my belly is getting from one week to another. 12 weeks compared to 13 weeks. 

Tummy Sleeve

Had to start wearing the tummy sleeve (belly band) this week with some of my work pants. It was getting a little too tight and a little too uncomfortable. My tummy sleeve is in black though.

Wearing it for the first time! It does work well holding my pants up, but have to wear it very low to make the zipper not show. Guess I have to wear longer shirts. 

13 Weeks

Baby is the Size of: Peach 
Total Weight Gain: 3 pounds
Stretch Marks: Nope
Maternity Clothes: Started to wear the belly band to fit into some of my work pants 
Sleep: Still having some interesting dreams. 
Best Moment this Week:  Hearing the heartbeat! Strong heartbeat 155! 

Worst Moment this Week: Still getting some headaches
Miss Anything: Sushi 
Cravings: Wanting soda… I know it isn't good, but only had it once this week 
Queasy or sick: None
Symptoms:  Being tired and having headaches 
Have You Started Showing Yet: Yep! 
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy 
Looking Forward To: Announcing our pregnancy on Facebook. Still a secret, but you'll know soon :) Also, looking forward to telling my students and staff at my school that I am pregnant. I know my students are going to be so excited and sweet. 

Having some fun with the baby size and fruit. Baby Zegarra is the size of a peach! 

John and I are still not 100% on if we want to know the gender ahead of time. But I went to Target to see if they had a Valentine's Day shirt to wear and got stopped in the dollar section. Dang that dollar section! :) Found a bunch of cute, cute, cute stuff that I could use if we do decide to have a gender reveling party. Still need to get some more stuff, but thought this was a very good start. Boy or girl?!?!? Who knows! If we do decide to find out we will know in about a month and a half!

12 Weeks

Maternity Clothes: None yet. 
Sleep: Having some interesting dreams. I did dream that we were having a girl 
Best Moment this Week:  John and I made a tapas night with such delicious food!

Worst Moment this Week: Had a really bad headache this week. Took forever for it to go away. 
Miss Anything: Nothing in particular this week
Cravings: Grilled cheese and tomato soup
Queasy or sick: None
Symptoms:  Being tired 
Have You Started Showing Yet: Think I can officially say I have a little bump! 
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy 
Looking Forward To: My doctors appointment this week. Can't wait to hear the heartbeat!

11 Weeks

Today Is: January 18, 2016
How far long: 11 weeks 
Baby is the Size of: Lime
Total Weight Gain: 2 pounds
Stretch Marks: Nope
Maternity Clothes: Still trying to pull off not wearing the belly band. Wish me luck! 
Sleep: Waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom 
Best Moment this Week:  John had off the whole weekend and we hosted game night. We also told our friends here in NC that I am pregnant. 

Worst Moment this Week: Having a sore throat… think I am getting sick from the germs at the gym :( Now I have to really make sure I am washing my hands more. Plus, I was planning on getting the flu shot this week, but I guess it has to wait, AGAIN! 
Miss Anything: Nothing in particular this week
Cravings: Sandwiches. I started making this mediterranean sandwich. DELICIOUS!   
Queasy or sick: Might be coming down with another cold :(
Symptoms:  Being tired more

Looking Forward To: A short week with my kiddos this week (only have them for 2 days) 

John and I hosted our first game night at our house. I decided as a dessert to tell our friends that I am expecting that I will get a brownie cake personalized with our announcement. Our friends were very excited. Some of them kind of were expecting it since I haven't been drinking for a while.

John and I were so excited to share our news. We decided that since we didn't send out Christmas cards to everyone, that we could share our announcement as a New Years card. We sent the cards to our family and our close friends. So now everyone knows!  We still haven't told the whole world yet. So for now, you are still our little secret… at least to some :)
