Aniston is 5 months old

 

Diaper Size: 2

Clothes Size: 3-6 months and 6 months

Eat: She is eating every 3 hour. In the morning and before bed she will eat 6 oz. The other feedings are 5 oz. But I have a feeling I will need to start giving her more soon because she chugs them down. She is starting to feed herself so that is waayyyy helpful. She loves to do it too. 

Sleep: She is now sleeping from 7pm-6:45/7 am. She occasionally wake up once for the pacifier. We are getting her room ready so she can start to sleep in there. I will miss her, but I will enjoy having our room back. When she naps, she sleeps in the bassinet for about 3 hours. She will take small cat naps in the bouncer in the morning and late afternoon, but she is starting to turn over and not getting as comfortable in the bouncer so we are going to have to lay her flat in the crib or pack-n-play. 

Play: She is rolling over in both directions. It is amazing how quick she is rolling from her back to belly. I will lay her down on her back and go to get something and in less than 30 seconds she is already on her belly. She really likes being on her belly to play. She is starting to sit up on her own, but hasn't mastered it completely yet.

Milestones: Finding her pacifier (occasionally) and putting it in her mouth, rolling over in both directions, starting to sit up on her own and recognizing her name more.

Likes: She LOVES Presley. Every time Presley comes over she smiles so big. Presley is such a good helper too. When Anistion is crying she will come over with a toy or pacifier to help calm her. They melt my heart! She is liking the excersaucer and touching all the toys. She laughs so hard when you tickle her neck or when Daddy rubs his hair on her belly.

Dislikes: Sleeping in the bouncer. 

Personality: She is really happy! From the moment she wakes up and to putting her to bed she is smiling. If she is getting fussy it is probably because she is tired.

Dear Anistion,

You are growing up so big and strong! You are so happy and we love to see you learn new things. It is so cute walking into your room in the morning and seeing your big smile. From the morning until bedtime you are smiling! God has truly blessed us with you!!!!

Anistion is 4 months old

 

Diaper Size: 1, trying to finish them up but it is getting tight

Clothes Size: 3 months and 3-6 months 

Eat: She is eating every 3 hours with 5 oz each feeding. With having a toddler it gets very hard to get her to nurse. She either nurse for a few minutes and then Presley distracts her or she won't empty me enough and I will have to pump. So a session that should take 20 minutes is now taking an hour or more. So it seems easier for me to just pump. I do nurse occasionally, but she prefers the bottle more now. But it is all ok, she is still getting breast milk.

Sleep: She is now sleeping from 7pm-7:30am. She still does wake up once or twice for the pacifier, but I am not having to get up to feed her. When she naps, she sleeps in the bassinet for about 3 hours. She will take small cat naps in the bouncer in the morning and late afternoon.

Play: She loves to stand (of course with assistance) and has started to enjoy being on her stomach more. She is reaching for objects when she is playing on her back. She is starting to make more noise of excitement when she plays with her toys.

Milestones: Sleeping through the night, starting to recognize her name and being more vocal. 

Likes: She enjoys playing with her big sister. Every time she sees her, a big smile comes on her face. She likes warm water with her bath and likes to be exfoliated :)

Dislikes: She is starting to not like being in the bouncer to take a nap. It seems like she can't get comfortable. She is a side sleeper, so to get on her side isn't easy in the bouncer.

Personality: She is really happy! From the moment she wakes up and to putting her to bed she is smiling. If she is getting fussy it is probably because she is tired.

New Years

January 1, 2018

We had a very low key New Years. John was off New Years Eve, but had to work the next day. Unfortunately, we only made it to 10:30pm before we passed out :) I knew Aniston was going to be up around 4:30am, so waiting until 12am to watch the ball drop didn't seem to appealing to me. Maybe next year we will make it to watch the ball drop. Since having 2 under 2, I haven't watched the ball drop the past two years (lol).

Our New Years Even dinner tradition we did a surf and turf dinner with King Crab legs, shrimp scampi and Prime rib. Presley didn't seem to enjoy the finer things in life like the King Crab legs and Prime rib. But she really loved Daddy's shrimp scampi.

Christmas 2017

This is our first Christmas as a family of 4. Being a mom makes me love these holidays even more. Even though the girls don't know who Santa is right now, I am looking forward to the day when they do. We enjoyed our Christmas this year. We stayed home and I made us a family fun Christmas breakfast and we had a very nice family dinner. Presley did enjoy playing with some of her new toys and some of Aniston's toys too :)

Aniston is 3 Months Old

 

Diaper Size: 1, but getting pretty snug

Clothes Size: 3 months

Eat: She is eating every 4 hours. When I give her breast milk from the bottle she eats around 4-5 oz

Sleep: She just started to sleep from 8pm-6am. She does wake up in between those times for her pacifier, but she will continue to sleep.

Play: She still loves to sit up. She enjoys being in her sit-me-up chair. She just started to roll over. 

Milestones: Rolling over and taking a picture with Santa

Likes: She likes to see herself in the mirror. She loves it every time Presley hangs out with her. She also likes her diaper changed.

Dislikes: Playing on her back all the time. She wants to see what is going on. She also doesn't like it if she doesn't get enough attention.

Personality: She is really happy! She loves when you sing to her or smile and she will smile back.

Dear Aniston,

You are 3 months old already!!! Time is sure flying by. It is so bittersweet. We love to see you grow and learn new things, but that means you won't be our baby forever. Just remember how much we love you!!!
