So our second month of trying was unsuccessful. So now it is time to get really serious about being successful. I thought that it would be just as easy to get pregnant again since we didn't have really any issues last time. However, it hasn't been as easy so now we ordered ovulation kits so we can be as successful as we can.
The only hard thing is John's work schedule. With him being gone so often it is hard to plan it around my body. I only hope that we are lucky enough to have him home. Keeping our fingers crossed that with this extra help we will conceive soon!
Jackie my little love, I've just read all the posts that you've written since the last one I commented on. Once again you have shown yourself to be so totally awesome, it brings tears to my eyes. So many times I've tried to manage things that God alone can bring about, only to find that when I stop trying to control the situation myself, then God moves in and takes control and things finally work out. That's what happened when mommy got pregnant with you, that's what happened when we purchased our home in Hollywood, that's what happened when I lost my last job and got the one I've been at since 2002, and that's what I'm praying will happen with mommy's healing and sobriety. I'm also praying this will happen with you. Relax, and just continue to do things that will allow your baby to be conceived into a healthy and loving environment. Then whenever the time comes that God knits your baby inside your womb, he or she will be blessed by your preparation. But you can not conceive on your own time and terms, you can only prepare the environment. God provides when we get out of the way and allow Him to create when and as He sees fit. So therefore, the sooner we give up control to Him, the sooner we can get the blessings He has in store for us. I love you more than ever, and with each new day that statement remains true. Dad
